The KFCA Web site has generated a few inquiries, mainly requesting assistants, which is good and what we are here for. There has been an offer from Mike Dack (MK) to help in the development of some projects. There has been no feedback on the Web site so we assume everything is just fine.
National Forum (March 2006)
The National Forum of the Fostering Network met in London on 24 March 2006.
A report has been prepared outlining issues raised. NF March 2006.
National Forum (March 2006)
Cathy Goodwin has accepted a seat on the National Forum for Foster Associations run by the Fostering Network. We are also meeting with the regional forum to share experiences and ideas. The regional group includes East and West Sussex, Reading Berkshire, and Kent. Cathy attended a meeting on 27 February 2006 were we discussed funding, activities and support issues.
A newsletter reporting on the successful AGM has been prepared and circulated by SS. We have also prepared a contribution for the next Social Services Newsletter.
